Bruna Andreoni is a leather accessories brand committed to creating minimalist, classic pieces that will last a lifetime. Every design is made to order and exclusively handcrafted with traditional tools, methods, techniques, and the finest quality leather and materials. All items are designed and handcrafted in our atelier with the utmost care. Founded in 2017.

 

About the designer

Bruna Andreoni is classically trained by an Hermés artisan in traditional European fine leather working techniques. She makes all sketches, designs, patterns, and leather goods entirely by hand. As a native New Yorker, Bruna draws inspiration from the beauty and originality of her iconic city. 

 

Commitment to Sustainability

A message from Bruna:

I think a lot about my personal carbon footprint, the impact my brand has on the environment, and what I can be doing to lessen that impact.

Here are some things I’ve come up with so far:

  • I try to make creative use of all the leather remnants. I designed the Key Charm specifically to use leftover leather in the studio that was in perfect shape, but too small for making a regular-sized bag. I keep all usable remnants for prototyping and future projects.
  • All products are made to order. This means there isn’t any inventory on hand and we’re only producing goods when there is an actual need.
  • We don’t use excess packing materials when shipping. When you order one of our items, the box will be appropriately-sized, removing the need for a ton of packing material. We also don’t include packing slips, or other random, unnecessary papers.
  • Our tanneries are committed to sustainable practices.
  • Most of the leatherworking we do requires more manual labor and not as much machinery/electricity like in a factory. In the studio, there is a heat embosser for branding and monogramming, an edge iron for edge finishing, and a skiving machine (a specialty machine used to remove layers of leather for fine leatherworking). Every item is handstitched.
